We’re excited to introduce a new opportunity to rent a townhome at Parkview Place in Heber City, UT through the Credits-to-Own (CROWN) rent-to-own program. CROWN provides qualified households the chance to rent a home at a rate substantially below market value, with the long-term opportunity to purchase the home at a reduced price. Homes are rented for a required 15-year compliance period in accordance with Utah Housing Corporation (UHC) and IRS guidelines. At the end of this period, residents have the first right to purchase their townhome at an affordable price compared to market value at that time. CROWN Credits-to-Own
Credits-to-Own or CROWN is a rent-to-own program that gives tenants the opportunity to purchase their home. The rental rate and final purchase price are substantially under market value. These homes must be rented for 15 years in compliance with Utah Housing Corporation and IRS rules. Once the 15-year compliance period expires, these homes are sold at reduced price and tenants have first-right to purchase at very affordable prices compared to market value at the time. Please note: CROWN is tax-credit program that relies on private investors and has income limitations set by Utah Housing Corporation (UHC). Income limits vary by family size and property. Currently, there are four homes in Summit County (CROWN at River Bluffs in Francis) and six homes are being built and will be leased in spring/summer 2026 in Wasatch County (CROWN at Parkview Place in Heber) under this program. These homes are 1,300-1,400 square feet, have 3 to 4 bedrooms, 2 to 2.5 bathrooms, and a 2-car garage.
