Workforce Employer Rental Incentive Program - WE RIP
The Housing Resource Center, HRC, at Mountainlands Community Housing Trust is excited to launch WE RIP to encourage local homeowners to rent to our local workforce. The escalating housing crisis has made it increasingly challenging for our local workforce to find affordable housing in our community.
WE RIP aims to incentive local homeowners to rent to qualifying employees from local participating WE RIP employers.
WE RIP for Park City Workers
At the HRC, we believe housing is belonging and belonging builds a thriving community. Every year it gets more and more challenging for our local workforce to obtain affordable housing in the community in which they work and support. WE RIP helps keep our local workforce, local.
Simple for Owners
Great for Our Community
WE RIP is a community-building program with the intention of housing more of our local workforce where they work to build a more complete community.
Local, affordable workforce housing also helps reduce traffic and carbon emissions.
Awesome Incentives for Landlords

Local employers are feeling the impact of the housing crisis and need your help. Renting to locals pays!
Find our which local employers are trying to address the issue and how they are incentivizing landlords to rent to their employees.
Seasonal Workforce Housing
WE RIP aims to increase the inventory of long-term and seasonal rentals by incentivizing new rentals or converting previously short-term rentals .
While we appreciate those already incentivized by rental income, this program seeks to incentivize new rentals.
WE RIP listings are available to participating WE RIP employees only. If your employer doesn't participate yet, encourage them to be part of the solution!
How WE RIP Works
Step 1
The landlord applies to WE RIP through HRC. If accepted, the unit is listed as part of the WE RIP rental program.
Step 2
An eligible employee finds housing in the HRC's WE RIP listings and contacts the unit owner. The landlord and tenant sign a lease.
Step 3
The landlord submits a copy of the lease agreement to the WE RIP employer contact for approval and receives incentives.
Unit owners must apply to WE RIP prior to signing a lease with eligible employees. Please review WE RIP Landlord Requirements before applying.
